Another in the long string of worldwide poker tournaments has now been announced, this time even outside the borders of the usual European front: that’s right, the poker masterworld of Croatia is now on the list for their first major poker tournament ever. The tournament will be held this Spring in Zagreb, and carries a guaranteed prize pool of 100,000 Euros.
The event will run from April 27 to May 3rd and is sponsored by the All In Poker Club in Zagreb.
This tournament is another product of the poker mind of the gorgeous Tatjana Pasalic, who has already made herself known organizing events such as the Italian Poker Classic for Italian TV. She has also started a Students’ league of poker tournaments and satellites for the Sarajevo Open 2008.
This inaugural Croatian poker event is known as the Croatia Spring Poker Championship, and satellites for the tournament are now being offered online for as little as $1.
