 Howard Lederer was born on October 30, 1964 in Concord, New Hampshire. Growing up Lederer was a noted chess prodigy and played cards with his family, including his sister, Annie Duke, also a professional poker player. He enrolled in Columbia University and while in New York he discovered the chess and poker clubs throughout the city. After several years of learning various poker games Howard moved to Las Vegas in 1994 to pursue poker full-time. |

Born on March 28, 1977, in Riverside, California, Allen took up the game of poker when he attended the University of California, Los Angeles while studying for a degree in civil engineering. After showing a natural skill for the game of poker at local Indian casinos, Allen dropped out of school to pursue a full-time career of cards. |
